Middle Buffalo River Area
Things to Do While Staying at Nature’s Loft, Mudita, or The Creek Cabins
The Middle Buffalo River area near our properties offers an incredible variety of outdoor adventures and small-town charm. Nature’s Loft is about 4.4 miles from the Buffalo River and the Gilbert access. The Creek Cabins at Brush Creek are roughly 3.8 miles from the town of Marshall, and Mudita Couples Spa sits about 5 miles from Marshall on Star Mountain. This central Ozarks location makes for easy day trips to nearby scenic towns, and the middle section of the Buffalo often enjoys a longer float season than the upper river—extending paddling fun into the summer months.

- Float or kayak the beautiful Buffalo River.
- Enjoy ATV rides on scenic back roads.
- Fish the White, Red, or Buffalo rivers.
- Chase waterfalls throughout the region.
- Sightsee through quaint Ozark towns along your drives.
- Visit Mirror Lake and Blanchard Spring Caverns—both are must-see natural wonders.
